What size should I print? Two factors to consider: your frame size and whether you will use a mat? Each picture has been created for a specific frame size (and so you'll see what look like duplicate images in the galleries, but actually each image is for a specific print size - the dimensions are given in the image title). Furthermore, images are either printed edge to edge, or with a border (which means the image is suitable for matting). The latter will also include an image title and digital signature, which would be hidden if the image was matted.
The current sizes offered are as follows - custom sizing is available on request:
Frame size: 8 x 10
Frame size 11 x 14
Frame size 16 x 20
You can of course elect to print, for example, an 11 x 14 print (edge to edge with no title or signature), and still use this in a 16 x 20 frame with a suitably sized mat.
What paper type and/or finish should I choose? The print labs I use are highly respected on-line digital imaging labs for professional photographers. They offer a selection of high quality papers and finishes to suite a variety of preferences. To cater for different tastes - some like a glossy finish, others prefer matte - I offer a small number of options. That said, if you have questions on any of the options please don't hesitate to ask.
Can I order a print that's not offered or a custom size? Absolutely - just send me an email detailing your requirements - picture, frame size and whether a matte will be used. I can then ensure the picture fits your specific requirements.
